Join us at The Restaurant Pendolino for a special Clonakilla Wine Dinner, celebrating one of Australia’s most distinguished family-owned wineries from Murrumbateman in the Canberra District.
Executive Chef Nino Zoccali has created a four-course menu to be enjoyed alongside a curated selection of Clonakilla wines, including current releases, back vintages and a rare Auslese Riesling not commercially available.
Founded by John Kirk in 1971, Clonakilla has grown from a small family vineyard into one of Australia’s most celebrated wine estates. The evening will explore the wines that have shaped its story, from Riesling and Pinot Noir to the estate’s renowned Shiraz Viognier, with current and older vintages poured side by side.

Aodhan Kirk
A third-generation member of the Kirk family, Aodhan is the grandson of founder John Kirk and son of Tim Kirk. Having worked as part of Clonakilla’s winery team for several years, he now works across sales, vineyard and winery, continuing his family’s involvement in the Murrumbateman estate.
Nino Zoccali
Nino Zoccali is an acclaimed chef, restaurateur and cookbook author, and the creative force behind The Restaurant Pendolino. He is a respected national olive oil judge and passionate advocate for super-premium ingredients. His deep knowledge of Italian food and wine informs both his cuisine and his acclaimed contributions to leading food and wine publications.
